How to improve?

Fm100-huetest, a more advanced test used in many countries and in private health care, also uses hue and brightness differences to determine whether colour cognition is complete. Therefore, the basic idea of hue and lightness is not any problem. The real difference between the two is that the Fm100 test does not have any other elements, while the background of the Ishihara test greatly affects the attention of the subjects. Therefore, we can try to remove or improve the image background of Ishihara‘s test as the starting point of this programme.

First, in order to preserve the fact that the Ishihara's test has a single standard answer and is cheap (without the use of any electronic equipment or high-precision printing), adjusting the background to help a lightness sensitive person with colour discrimination recognise the image content is the best way to improve it. Here, I decided to use line trend to assist understanding, and the difference in lightness was taken as the element of distinguishing.After controlling all the variables, I found several groups of colours with similar lightness and conducted the simplest first test.
